This is a super exciting day.

A day that has been a year in the making.

About this time last year I was on a little spending spree.  I had a serious shopping habit.  I admit now that I had a problem.

Nordstroms?

Macy’s?

Anthropology?

No.  It was GoDaddy.  I was addicted to purchasing website addresses.  I bought a bunch.  Most of them I did not renew this year, but one stuck.  One has been stuck in my head going around and around and around for nearly 365 days.  Today it has been set loose on the internet.

I could not have done this myself.  And that is why it is good to have addiction enablers like my dear friends and partners, Shauna and Jay.  They have made this thing happen.

And what is this thing?

It is Business 2 Blogger.

It was about a year ago that I started getting a few emails a day that resembled this…

Dear June,

I love your blog!  I can tell that you are a mom who enjoys __________.  Your readers will really want to know about _______________.  I would be glad to send you a sample of __________ so that you can write about it.

Sincerely,

_________ Company

Most the time I was NOT a mom who loved _________ and my readers weren’t really into ___________, but that didn’t mean that other moms didn’t love __________!  In fact, several of the requests I forwarded on to moms who were big fans of _________.

At that point I thought…

Why doesn’t someone organize all this so that companies don’t have to scour the blogworld for random blogger email addresses to pitch random items?

And at some point I decided that person would be me.

And Shauna.  Isn’t Shauna lucky?

But we were tired.

Too tired to pull it off.

So we turned to Jay. Isn’t Jay lucky?

Jay had more energy.

A man with a plan.

And here we are today…the BIG day.

Business 2 Blogger is simple.
