We visited the Fort Worth Water Gardens yesterday.
Rhett and I made our way carefully to the bottom of the “falls” (second from the top). The sound when you are sitting there is a fantastic roar.
The final picture is what happens when I ask three boys to be good, sit still and let me take a picture. Oh well, at least they are dressed nicely.

That place looks beautiful…was it enough to entertain the boys? Did you do other stuff around there (what?)? I’ve always wanted to go but wasn’t sure exactly *what* it was…
LOVE the picture
It is good for 45 minutes or so. It is next to the convention center so I am not sure there is much else right there…the train station was kinda close which might make it worth it.
Good place for a picnic.
I’d like a slice of water with some ice cream please?
Boys dressed nicely? You were lucky…
(That’s supposed to be a Monty Python joke, but I don’t seem to be able to type in a British accent. Phooey.)
How DO you write in an accent???? lol.
At least they are all smiling?
who is the random girl child in your pic???
huh? I think that would be me…I am very young lookin’ – hahaha.
Great pics! I love that place. Those are some super charismatic, cute boys.
What good-lookin’ boys! Only question: how is it they are so dry?
Funny story about those water gardens.
Husband wanted to take me there to propose to me (on the eve of my 21st birthday). He drove around downtown FW nervously, not telling me why we had to go to a specific place. He couldn’t remember where they were! Eventually he just parked next to a building with a courtyard with water in it.
And then he proposed and it was sweet and funny and probably better than being at the actual water gardens.
Your boys make me laugh.
Funny, I have MANY pictures just like your last one…’cept mine only have two boys in them.
neat pictures! I want to visit that park now…
stopping by from SITS
We used to go to a water garden in Ft. Worth when I was younger, but this looks much larger and more modern. Have they renovated or added structures? Of course, the last time we went there was (cough) mumble 20 years ago, so….
Amazing pictures. I found your blog via Blogtrepreneur’s Top 50 Mommy Blogs; I can see why you made the list!
OH! we’ll have to take a trip out there. Never have been but looks fun! great pics, love the way you sliced them!
