slices of vail

in photographs

We were in the Vail Valley last week.  It was incredibly beautiful.

And the perfect temperature…in the shade.

I have 1000s of pictures.  Approximately 67% of them are of poppies.

The poppies were so vivid.  I may post a poppy a day for the rest of the year…

Many of the photos above are from the Betty Ford Alpine Garden in Vail, CO.  I hope to put together a whole post about the gardens and kids’ park because it is one of the prettiest places in the world.  I would move in to the Garden Museum, if they would let me.

Beautiful shots! I’m impressed at your brave boy in the first one. Mine is too chicken to do anything “high”.

I have to say I miss read the Betty Ford thing. For a minute there, I thought you went to a Betty Ford Clinic. Bhaaa haaa!

Love the Poppies!! Miss Colorado. :(

Great pictures, and it’s nice to see someone enjoy Vail without snow, although I do love it with the snow very much. :)
