When I found out that the I ♥ Faces Photo Challenge this week was Halloween dress-up, I couldn’t help but reach into the deep Nirvana Chicken of the Week archives for one of my favorites…

Wow it seems like a year since the last potluck.

Yeah for Monday (although Ryan isn’t returning to school until Wednesday so really it is Yeah for Wednesday)!

Today I am serving up waffles like there is no tomorrow. You can find my world famous waffle recipe over at Burbmom. Mmmmm.

I went over to my Analytics to find that someone Googled, “The greatest blog in the entire world and the Northern parts of heaven. Amen.” and ended up here.

Well, actually I went over to Analytics to find that NO ONE had visited me for 2 weeks…I forgot to re-install it into my fancy new template. I should have more valid information next week.

It appears that 2008 was the Year of the Chicken:

Whew. Seriously I am much better. I am trying to contain my dancing as to not over-rotate my pelvis ipsliaterally creating increased tension on the right sacro-tuberous ligament which is still tender.

A few weeks ago I asked for a new coccyx for Christmas. Christmas has arrived a bit early for me. Really! OK, in all truth, I started to see a chiropractor and it has really helped. Please don’t ask why I didn’t try this months ago…

Oh goody! It is a fruit bowl sing along:

12 fuzzy pennies, 11 lego pieces, 10 fruit flies, 9 recipe cards, 8 candy canes, 7 green limes, 6 aging apples, 5 GOLDEN BANANAS!, 4 sugar cookies, 3 orange oranges, 2 pomegranates and NOT A PEAR IN SIGHT.

Merry Monday and a Happy Potluck. I am hoping that by bringing the holiday spirit into my potluck today my Christmas cards will magically be addressed, my packages wrapped and the scent of baking fills my home.

Speaking of baking. I am in the mood for cake. Let’s just have that at the potluck. Cake. That’s all. Well, and maybe some coffee. Yep, coffee and cake. Maybe even get a little wild and have coffee cake. Whoa.

Someone landed on the Nirvana this week after Googling, “can you talk macaroni and cheese to a potluck crock pot”. I don’t know exactly what they were looking for but I can sleep comfortably at night knowing that they probably ended up at the right place. I don’t know anywhere else that talks a potluck dish more than I do.

And now for a bedtime story…

This is what Rhett has insisted on taking to bed with him this week. Yep, that is a power ranger battery powered toothbrush in green and an empty Wii Monkey Ball package. I have stopped asking questions like, “why?” and spent my energy arranging random items next to him and tucking them in.

5 baking potatoes, 4 oranges, 4 green apples, 4 red apples, a lemon, 2 over-ripe bananas and a bunch of perfectly ripe bananas.

Mmmm….all that fruit would go nicely with some cake.

Nevermind.

I think I will skip the fruit and just eat the cake.
